Executive Chef Jason Shelley
Executive Chef Jason Shelley joins the Ocean Prime Chicago team after previously serving as the opening Executive Chef of Ocean Prime D.C. A native of Pittsburgh, PA and graduate of The Ohio State University, Chef Shelley began his hospitality career 18 years ago in his hometown. He then brought his talent to Columbus, OH, where he worked his way from line cook to sous chef at Mitchell’s Ocean Club, the original Ocean Prime. Following his time there, Chef Shelley opened Ocean Prime Orlando as Executive Chef, and, later, moved to Ocean Prime Philadelphia. When he is not in the kitchen, Chef Shelley can be found exploring the Windy City with his wife and son.
General Manager Louis Morgan III
Louis Morgan III, a 16-year hospitality industry veteran, began his career at Ocean Prime Indianapolis, where he served in a variety of front-of-house roles, as a bartender and bar manager. From there, Morgan was promoted to General Manager of Ocean Prime Troy, where he was twice-awarded Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ “General Manager of the Year” award. Morgan currently resides in Flossmoor, IL with his wife and two sons. When not at Ocean Prime Chicago creating memorable experiences for guests, Morgan can be found traveling the world and spending time with his family.
