Executive Chef Michael Denton
Executive Chef Michael Denton brings more than 20 years of experience to Ocean Prime Denver Tech Center (DTC). He started working for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants when he was 19 years old. Prior to Ocean Prime DTC, he was the executive chef at Ocean Prime in Larimer Square in Denver; Troy, Michigan; Dallas, Texas; and Tampa, Florida. His favorite Ocean Prime dish is the Tuna Tartare. Michael most recently served as Director of Purchasing at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ home office in Columbus, Ohio and is excited to get back into the kitchen.
Michael resides in Denver and his interests outside of work are hiking, music, football, and camping. His advice for those interested in pursuing a career in restaurants is to work hard, stay humble, be flexible, and don’t forget to have fun!
General Manager Aaron Wesley
Aaron Wesley has been with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants since 2008 and won the 2017 Ocean Prime Dining Room Manager of the Year Award. He’s worked at Ocean Prime in Orlando, Florida; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Beverly Hills, California. His favorite part of working at Ocean Prime is taking part in a culture that promotes growth, communication, teamwork, creativity, and fun.
Before his current position, Aaron held almost every position in the dining room: server, expeditor, bartender, dining room manager, beverage manager, and assistant general manager. His advice for those interested in pursuing a career in restaurants is to be selfless, passionate, consistent, nice, and smile as much as possible.
Sales & Event Manager Jo Casarez
Jo Casarez has been with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants since 2009 and is the head of sales and event management at Ocean Prime Denver Tech Center (DTC). She started at Ocean Prime as a hostess and discovered a passion for the company through the culture and food. She is dedicated to making unforgettable memories and wonderful experiences for every guest walking through the doors of Ocean Prime, no matter how big or small the occasion.
Her advice for those interested in pursuing a career in restaurants is do everything with integrity and compassion no matter which position you hold in the restaurant and most importantly, have fun at work. Jo resides in Denver and takes full advantage of Colorado with hiking, traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, watching professional sports, trying new cuisines and dining at new restaurants.
