Executive Chef Branden Pegg
Branden Pegg’s dream of becoming a chef stems from his first job at age 14 where he worked as a cook at a local Root Beer and Hot Dog stand in his hometown of Richmond, Indiana. He instantly fell in love with the energy, the fire (literally), and atmosphere of working in a kitchen.
Upon graduating high school, Pegg joined the United States Air Force where he served for seven years. It was during this time that he rediscovered his love of cooking and soon enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago and graduated in 2007.
Before joining the Cameron Mitchell team, Pegg began his culinary career in Fairbanks, Alaska and Chicago, Illinois but always heard his hometown state of Indiana calling his name. Branden moved back to Indiana and began working at OCEAN PRIME Indianapolis as sauté cook in March 2014. In two short years, Chef Branden has climbed the ranks to Executive Chef, crediting his fellow associates and the ongoing support at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants for this achievement.
His favorite OCEAN PRIME dish is the Prime Roll and he spends his spare time going on bike rides with his wife and son, grilling, camping and completing crossword puzzles. He currently resides in Indianapolis with his family.
General Manager Jeremy Devine
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jeremy Devine brings more than 20 years of restaurant and hospitality experience to OCEAN PRIME Indianapolis.
Before his current position as general manager, Devine held almost every position in the dining room: busser, host, server, bartender, dining room manager, and assistant general manager. He first gained fine dining management experience with Oceanaire Seafood Room and Morton's The Steakhouse. Devine served as the dining room manager and assistant general manager for four years before joining the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants family in 2013. At OCEAN PRIME Indianapolis, Devine was the dining room manager before being promoted to general manager in 2015.
Devine and his wife, Leigh, and their three sons reside in Westfield.
Sales & Event Manager Ashley Rhine
Ashley Joined the CMR family in 2015 as a sales associate. Prior to Ocean Prime Indianapolis, she worked at another steak concept for 8+ years. Ashley attended a private culinary school in Colorado within their hospitality program where she earned a BS in Hotel Management. She has been in the restaurant industry for 20 years and loves assisting guests with wine and food parings to create the ultimate dining experience.
