Ocean Prime Tampa Associates Win Culinary State Championship

Ocean Prime Tampa associates Edinson Mejia and Manuel Parrado and the Leto High School culinary team took home the first-place title at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation’s 17th annual ProStart Culinary Team Competitions held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando on March 3-4. This is the fifth consecutive win for the team. They competed against 47 culinary teams from across the state. Along with Mejia and Parrado, the group included Chyna Walker, Angel Nieves and Moises Jimenez.
